While working at Go Media in 2016, I had the opportunity to create a marketing campaign for the City of Cleveland's Department of Economic Development. Having run a successful campaign the previous year by distributing postcards with the slogan “Make It In Cleveland,” the department was interested in running another campaign with a refreshed aesthetic. As part of our initial goal finding meetings, we discussed the possibility of creating something that would be more engaging for their target audience.
What we built became a tool kit for creatives who are new to Cleveland or interested in learning about the tools available in the city. A pamphlet enclosed a map with the wide variety of creative resources in the city, as well as a booklet with a calendar of events and statistics about Cleveland's growth in the creative fields in recent years.
